Welcome to Good Hope
Welcome back, Good Hope Families!! The 2013 - 2014 school year is going to provide our students and families with many opportunities for growth! As you walk on campus, you will notice the updated changes to our buildings. Upon entering the classrooms, you will notice the new technology our students are utilizing. Every school year provides a new opportunity for student learning. It is important now more than ever that the school and parents work together to support the children at Good Hope. One way to support student achievement is to make sure your child is here every day and on time. Please do your best to schedule any appointments outside of the school day.
Thank you for your patience with our breakfast change as students are entering the school through the cafeteria. Remember, breakfast is from 7:15 to 8am. It is important that if your child is eating at school that they be here before 8 am. To ensure students are eating breakfast, we no longer have free play before school, but rather a structured activity like the walking club. This change comes about to ensure that within the hours of 8 am - 2:15 pm, your child is receiving as much instruction as possible. At 8am, instruction begins and the campus becomes a closed campus.
As always, we encourage you to be involved in your child's education by becoming a parent volunteer. Please come by the office to find out about the volunteer requirements or look up the information under our parent tab on Good Hope Elementary school's website.
